I responded to the Dragon-Rouge brief of creating/rebranding a product based around eco-luxe packaging. I decided to take the skincare range Palmer's who actually are eco friendly but don't show it through their very basic and tired looking branding. In refreshing the brand I resisted what made them unique and the design reflects the leaves from the Kalpavriksha tree, (from Hindu mythology) coconut tree's - where they take their product from - are known as this due to the amazing resourcefulness of the tree. 
In utilising this and the henna style design that is present within Hindu culture I was able to create an identity that was eco-luxe in style for the skincare brand. All materials are eco friendly (eco card for packaging and labels) and glass as this can be recycled and encourage consumers to reuse in alternate ways.
